with Square now making games for the cube, Sony's lost their last great "exclusive" franchise. There is no longer any reason whatsoever for the serious gamer (not the fanboy) to buy a Playstation.

LOL, where do you get your information? Sony just bought like 70% of Square, they aren't going to be making anything but Playstation games until FF11, which is supposed to be cross-platform. Also, Rockstar is definetly exclusive to Sony.
